“Talk to us” feature
We will store, process and share your name (if you provide it), email address and question in order to respond to your question, either by email or on this site. We’ll keep your question and answer so that we can keep improving the site and we may publish them here (with your name, if you’ve given it) for the benefit of other users. We’ll store and process your data on our servers in the UK. We want to hear from you, but please only provide information that you’re happy for us to use in these ways.
You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org
We use an external supplier to distribute the newsletter. They will store and process your personal details in order to send emails to you. We and our suppliers may also obtain and process data about how you use the newsletter (for example whether you open it and which links you click on) so that the service can be monitored and improved.
By signing up to receive the newsletter you are agreeing that your personal data may be stored, processed and shared for these purposes.
You can unsubscribe at any time by following the link in the newsletter or by emailing.
What we do with your data
We only collect and process your information where you choose to provide it to us and consent to its processing (for example by signing up to the newsletter or submitting a comment in “talk to us”).
We won’t share your information with any other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we don’t pass on your details to other websites.
We will retain the data you provide only for as long as necessary. We’ll keep questions submitted through “talk to us,” as well as our answers and we’ll keep your name and email address for as long as you opt to receive the newsletter but we won’t keep your name or email address after we’ve finished communicating with you.
We will store your data on our servers and those of our partners, which are in the UK. We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it. However, sending information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data while it’s in transit. Any data you send is at your own risk.
You can find out what information we hold about you, and ask us not to use any of the information we collect, by contacting email@example.com.
If you’ve signed up for email alerts, you can unsubscribe or change your settings at any time.
